From Engineer to Real Estate Agent!
I’m originally from Buffalo, NY and moved to Rochester after I graduated college from the University at Buffalo with a Bachelor’s of Science in Structural Engineering in 2008. I worked in the Engineering industry for 14 years and made the switch to become a real estate agent in the winter of 2021. Along with my experience of structural engineering, I am also a licensed home inspector. I became a licensed Professional Engineer in New York State in 2012 and have renewed my license every 3 years since then. I also have my PE stamp in Florida, Ohio, Maryland, Indiana, and Georgia. I am also proficient in 3D BIM software modeling.
I have been married to my wonderful wife, Liz, since 2018 and we welcomed our son into the world in August 2021. I really enjoy woodworking, building things, fixing things, brewing and drinking beer, going hiking with my family, Star Wars, Legos, watching movies, and burping my son.
I also volunteer throughout the school year as a mentor for high school students that are looking to see if they want to enter college to pursue a degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction. I have done this for 5 years (even remotely through Covid), and have found great fulfillment in it. My family and I are members of Grace Road Church in the city and volunteer as Sunday School teachers.
I am looking forward to applying my skills as a structural engineer and home inspector into my career as a licensed real estate agent with the RPP team of High Falls Sotheby's International Realty.
